TheThe Pour Yard opened at 210 Washington St. in Quincy on June 2, featuring the transformation of a former parking lot into an attractive enclosed patio. There's indoor seating as well, but the star of this new spot is the outdoor dining and drinking space, decorated with an herb garden. (Those herbs show up on the cocktail list in various ways, such as in a blood orange gin and tonic with fresh rosemary.) The new venue is a sibling and neighbor of Cagney's Pub.

The hard-drinking, sun-loving Bostonian will find plenty of places these days to enjoy a tasty view and a cool buzz here at the height of the summertime drinking season. Take, for example, the red-hot 2-year-old Lookout Rooftop and Bar at the Envoy Hotel.
